Fuel

Extra fuel storage and mounts for longer trips. RotopaX makes most of the range: 2 and 4 gallon gas cans with interlocking clips, pack mounts, mounting plates, handles and spouts. Mounts from LoD Offroad, AEV, Rock Hard 4x4, Rugged Ridge, ARB, Rhino-Rack, TeraFlex and EVO Manufacturing hold jerry cans and fuel packs on Jeep Wrangler JK and JL tailgates, roof racks and bumpers.

Check local rules for carrying fuel, keep cans upright and outside the cabin, and check the load rating of the tailgate or carrier, since a full 5 gallon can weighs about 35 lb. Related: fuel containers, RotopaX and water storage.
