Older winches with a three-wire remote do not talk to a newer controller. The WARN 5-Wire Winch Remote Control Conversion Kit converts older three-wire winch remote systems to a five-wire setup for the M6000 and M10000 winches. It includes a new rubberized remote with a 12ft lead. Swap it in and the winch has a current-style remote.
