Open differentials send power to the wheel that is spinning, and on a rocky climb or a muddy rut that is the wheel in the air. The truck stops, and you start thinking about winch points.
The ARB Air Locker is a pneumatically operated locker inside the differential. Switch it on and both axle shafts turn together, and switch it off and the differential runs as normal. Its patented locking mechanism unlocks quickly, and the kit includes the switch, solenoid valve, airline and bulkhead fitting.
Install the locker, mount the switch and plumb it to an air supply. A compressor is required and sold separately. Then lock the rear when the terrain needs it and drive normally the rest of the time.
