This Revolution Gear & Axle set fits Toyota 8.0in IFS differentials in a 4.56 ratio with a thick ring gear, which fits 3.73 ratio and numerically lower carriers. It has a 29-spline pinion and an 8.0in ring gear cut from 8620 steel, reverse rotation. Set the gears, and add the ring gear bolts, which are not included. The right ratio delivers more torque at lower speeds, which gives better traction and control on climbs and makes towing easier.
