With two to three inches of lift under it, a Tacoma needs a longer rear shock, and the stock one hangs at the end of its stroke. Add a loaded bed and the rear rides harshly and bottoms out.

The FOX Performance Elite 2.5 rear shock provides 9.55 in of travel with an external reservoir that adds oil capacity and sheds heat. Dual Speed Compression (DSC) adjusters set compression for your load, and Type III anodization protects the 2.5 in aluminum body from corrosion and wear.

Install the pair at the rear and set the adjusters. The lifted truck keeps its travel and its composure.
