The rear shocks on an older Tacoma wear out slowly, and the truck gets bouncy so gradually that the owner only notices when the ride turns harsh over every bump.

The FOX Performance 2.0 smooth body IFP shock replaces them with a 2.0 in aluminum body and 8.12 in of travel. An internal floating piston in a monotube design stops oil aeration, and application-specific valving gives a comfortable ride on the road and predictable handling off it.

Swap the pair at the stock location. The rear end rides firm and quiet again.
