A lifted Tacoma front end does the steering, the braking and most of the work when the trail turns rough. Stock-style dampers fade quickly there, and the truck begins to dive and wander with a loaded bed behind it.

The FOX Factory Race 2.5 Internal Bypass front shock gives that end of the truck more control. Fluid bypasses the main piston through bleed holes in the ride zone, and as the shock moves past that zone the holes close and force rises to catch hard bottom-outs. An external reservoir adds oil capacity, and the DSC adjuster sets compression for load and terrain.

Install the pair with an upper control arm, set the adjuster and drive. The front end tracks where you point it.
