The 6th Gen 4Runner TRD Offroad rides at stock height, and rocky trails and bigger tires call for more clearance. Adding lift usually risks wear on the ball joints.
Rough Country's 3.5in lift kit gains 3.5 inches of height and levels the front with the rear. It includes new upper control arms with rubber bushings to keep the ball joints at proper angles, and a rear track bar bracket that centers the rear axle.
The kit bolts on without cutting or drilling. Install the arms and bracket, and set the truck level. The 4Runner clears obstacles it used to hang up on, with a stance that sits balanced.
