A 4Runner front end that is lifted on spacers rides stiff on rough pavement and soft in the dirt. Without a way to adjust compression, one setting has to cover every kind of road.

These ICON 2.5 Series front coilovers are vehicle-specific, with 2.5in bodies and remote reservoirs for cooling. Their CDCV valve offers 10 settings of external compression damping adjustment, and the collars set front ride height 1.25-3in over stock. They pair with the front differential drop for full wheel travel.

Install the pair, set ride height and turn the dial to suit the load or terrain. The front end rides the way the trip needs.
