Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen 2010-2024, K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Cold Air Intake System Info & Specs
A fifth-gen 4Runner with a roof rack, a loaded cargo area and a trail ahead asks a lot of its stock intake. The factory air box restricts airflow when the engine needs it most.
The K&N 63 Series AirCharger replaces the factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing high-density polyethylene tube and an oiled cotton filter. K&N lists the system as designed to improve throttle response and engine sound, with service needed only up to 100,000 miles depending on driving conditions.
Swap the factory parts, mount the tube and filter, and tighten the clamps. Installation is usually 90 minutes or less.
