A threaded spring seat sets ride height, and the remote reservoir adds oil capacity and cooling. The damping is position sensitive, so it firms up as the suspension compresses and stays comfortable over small inputs.

Install the unit at the front passenger side position, set the height and recheck everything after the first drive. The 4Runner regains its stance, and the ride follows.
