This Revolution Gear & Axle set fits Toyota 8.2in differentials in a 4.56 ratio, with a 30-spline pinion and an 8.2in ring gear cut from 8620 steel, standard rotation. Set the gears, add the ring gear bolts, which are not included, and the axle is geared to the ratio you chose. The right ratio delivers more torque at lower speeds, which gives better traction and control on climbs and makes towing easier. It also keeps engine RPM in a better place at highway speed.
