A heavy rig on a steep trail needs pulling power that fits the bumper. The Superwinch Scorpion 10000 is a 12V DC electric winch with a 10,000 lb capacity in a compact housing. A permanent magnet motor drives a clockable 4-stage planetary gearbox with a low gear of 437:1 for full pulling power and a high gear of 156:1 for faster line speed at lighter loads. The control box sits inside the unit, and a full load holding automatic brake and 3/8 in synthetic rope with a soft shackle complete the setup. Mount it, spool it, and recover with confidence.
