A stuck vehicle needs a strap that is quick to rig, and shackles and knots are slow to work with and hard to undo. The SpeedStrap SuperStrap is a 1 inch wide weavable recovery strap, 50 feet long, that forms a loop at each end by weaving through itself, so no metal is needed. Wrap it around a tow point, weave the end back through, pull to set the weave and recover the vehicle. Unweave it afterward and store it in a space as small as under a seat.

Notes

• For vehicle recovery, make 4 to 6 weaves, pull up all the slack before starting and give the strap a tug to set the weave. More weaves increase pull strength.
