The Sunseeker Freestanding Awning uses gas struts to help it deploy, so it is open in seconds. It packs to 2.2 m (86 in) long and extends 2 m (78 in) from the edge of the vehicle for 4 sq m (43 sq ft) of cover. The 280gsm ripstop polycotton has a 2000 mm waterhead rating and UV50+ protection, and it fits roof racks with 1600 mm to 2600 mm bar spacing.

Mount it to the rack, unzip the bag and let the struts open it, then add the poles and pegs on longer stops. Shade becomes part of every stop instead of a project.
