Rhino-Rack Batwing Compact Awning, Left

Solo travelers and couples in smaller rigs and short-wheelbase 4WDs still want real shade at camp. A straight awning covers one side, and by mid-afternoon the sun has moved around the vehicle, so the table, the stove and the chairs keep chasing the shadow.

The Rhino-Rack Batwing Compact swings out 270 degrees from the left side of the rack and covers 6.4 sq m (68.9 sq ft). The legs fold out of the awning arms, the pegs and guy ropes live in a pocket inside the awning, and magnets hold the arms closed for the drive.

Mount it to the rack with the included multi-fit brackets, unzip the bag at camp, swing the arms around and peg the legs. Shade wraps around the side and rear of the vehicle, and camp stays comfortable all afternoon.
