Rhino-Rack Batwing 180 Freestanding Awning

A long day on dirt roads ends at a camp with no trees and full sun, or with clouds building on the ridge. Without shelter, camp is either baking or wet, and setting up a separate shade structure is one more chore at the end of the day.

The Batwing 180 Freestanding Awning mounts to the rack and opens to over 6 m long, reaching up to 2 m (78 in) from the edge of the vehicle for 8.4 sq m (90 sq ft) of cover. The 280gsm ripstop polycotton fabric has a 2000 mm waterhead rating and UV50+ protection, and it packs to 2.2 m (86 in) in a weatherproof woven polyester bag.

Mount it once, open it at camp, peg it out and add the poles if the wind rises. Shade and dry ground are ready a few minutes after the engine goes off.
