Climbing into a truck bed from the rear corner is awkward with a wet boot, a heavy load or a dog waiting. The step indent in the bumper is small and does not give much footing.

The Bestop TrekStep drops about 6 to 8 inches below the bumper and extends about 2 inches, giving a non-skid step plate where the indent should help. Linkage arms and mounting brackets are die-cast aluminum, the step plate is powder-coated extruded aluminum, and the step supports up to 300 pounds.

Bolt it on without drilling, which takes about 15 minutes on most applications, then climb in from the corner with solid footing.
