Coming off a ledge, the first thing to hit is often the receiver hitch, and a bent hitch or bumper ends a trip. The Receiver Saver slides into a 2 in receiver and presents a steel surface and an angled departure so the vehicle rides over the obstacle. It is made from 3/16 in A-36 steel and ships with a non-locking hitch pin. It deliberately has no recovery point, because a slider is not a recovery tool. The hitch stays protected and the climb goes on.
