Airing down is how an overlander finds traction on sand, rock and washboard, but on an ordinary wheel the tire bead can break loose at low pressure. For a loaded rig, a lost bead ends the climb.

The Method 709 HD Bead Grip is a 20x9 wheel in Matte Black, with an 8x165.1 (8x6.5) bolt pattern and a +12 mm offset. Patented Bead Grip technology engages the tire bead for more grip at low pressures, and a safety hump on the bead seat helps keep the tire seated. It is cast from A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment and rated for 4,500 lb.

Mount your tires, air down to suit the terrain, and go. The tire stays on the wheel when the trail gets rough.
