Jeep Wrangler TJ 1997-2001, TeraFlex NP231 Extreme Short Shaft Kit Info & Specs
Short-wheelbase TJ owners have wanted a way to lengthen the rear driveshaft without giving up ground clearance. The NP231 Extreme Short Shaft Kit increases driveshaft length by up to 7 in over a stock application, and improves strength.
It is more than 3 in shorter than a standard Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit and 1.5 in shorter than an ATLAS II. Speedometer readings transfer through a tone ring and electronic sensor. Install the output housing, shaft, yoke and sensor, and the rear driveline gets the extra length it needs.
