Jeep Wrangler JL 2018-2026, Westin WJ2 Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier Info & Specs
A spare tire on the back of a JL adds weight that the stock hardware was never meant to carry. The Westin WJ2 Rear Bumper with Tire Carrier is made from 3/16-inch plate steel with an 8 gauge carrier. The carrier works with or without factory or Westin hitches and swings open and closed with the tailgate. Tapered roller bearings and 2 turnbuckle heim links add rigidity, and the bolt-on spindle allows the carrier to be adjusted separately from the bumper. Shackle mount points, light mount points and a bottom frame mount are part of the design. Bolt it on, mount the spare, and the tailgate still opens.
