Jeep Wrangler JL 2018-2026, MetalCloak True Dual Rate Rear Coil Springs, 4-Door 2.5in or 2-Door 3.5in Lift, Pair Info & Specs

A lifted JL that carries recovery gear, water and camp kit needs rear springs that hold height under that weight and still let the axle work off-road. Springs that are too soft squat when loaded, and springs that are too stiff ride rough and cut travel.

MetalCloak True Dual Rate rear coils use a dual rate design with a 19.5in free length, long enough to stay in the coil buckets at full droop. They are wound from high tensile chrome silicon steel, finished in black powder coat and lift a 4-door JL 2.5in or a 2-door JL 3.5in. Fit the pair in an hour or two, have the Jeep aligned and the rear sits level and steady whether it is loaded for a trip or running empty.

Key Features

  • Dual rate design for a stable loaded ride with room to articulate

Notes

  • The 4xE version of this coil kit adds two model-specific polyurethane rear coil isolators.
  • True Dual Rate coils are engineered to work with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
  • Do not powder coat these coils. The baking process can change the steel's properties and reduce lift, and powder coating voids the coil warranty.
  • An alignment by a suspension specialist is recommended after a MetalCloak suspension is installed.
