The factory skid plates on a Wrangler JL cover most of the undercarriage, but the engine and transmission, the key and costly parts, are left without protection. One bad hit on a rock can end the trip and start a long tow.
The EVO Manufacturing ProTek Engine and Transmission Skid Plate is 3/16in steel, laser cut and CNC formed for clearance and strength, and finished in black powder coat. It is compatible with all EVO MFG JL suspension systems.
Install it with normal hand tools, with no drilling, cutting or welding and all hardware included. Plan on 1 to 3 hours. After that, the engine and transmission have steel under them.
