A spare tire on the tailgate adds weight to the hinge and limits clearance behind a Wrangler on technical rock sections.

The DV8 Offroad Spare Tire Delete covers the opening left after the spare and factory carrier come off. It adds a license plate mount with light, rubber plugs for the spare tire isolators and wiring grommet, and a plug and play 3rd brake light in place of the larger factory unit. The backup camera keeps full functionality.

Remove the spare, fit the delete, and wire the plate light.
