Lifting a JL or Gladiator on single-rate coils is a trade. Soft enough to flex and the Jeep sags with gear in the back; stiff enough to carry the load and the ride turns harsh. Short coils can also unseat from their buckets at full droop.
MetalCloak True Dual Rate Coils are wound from high-tensile chrome-silicon steel with a 22in free length, so they stay seated at full droop. The dual rate design works like a lowered coil bucket for a more stable ride, holds a consistent height and resists sagging. Front lower correction pads replace the factory plastic isolators to correct coil bow, and the upper isolators are matched to the engine.
Drop them in, align the Jeep, and it sits level at the new height with the camp gear on board.

Notes
- True Dual Rate coils are engineered to work with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
- Do not powder coat True Dual Rate coils. The baking process can change the coil steel and cause a loss of lift, and powder coating voids the coil warranty.
- MetalCloak recommends a suspension specialist align the Jeep after MetalCloak suspension is installed.
