A JL or JT that hauls gear and hits the trail needs front springs that keep their height loaded and still let the axle reach down into holes. Stock springs and worn plastic lower isolators can also leave the coil bowed in its seat.
MetalCloak True Dual Rate front coils are high tensile chrome steel with a 21.75in free length, so they stay seated at full droop. The dual rate design acts like a lowered coil bucket, steadying the spring, resisting buckling and keeping ride height consistent. Polyurethane lower coil correction pads replace the factory plastic parts to correct coil bow. On a JL they give a 4-door 2.5in of lift and a 2-door 3.5in, and they are tuned for Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
Install takes one to two hours. Follow with an alignment and the front sits level and steady.

Notes
- Engineered to perform with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
- MetalCloak advises against powder coating these coils: the baking process can change the steel and cost the coils their lift.
- MetalCloak recommends a suspension alignment by a specialist after installing MetalCloak suspension parts.
