The lower front arms on a lifted JL or Gladiator set the front axle's position and caster, and stock fixed-length arms cannot be adjusted once the Jeep sits higher. Their rubber bushings also bind at full articulation and send harshness through the steering.
MetalCloak Duroflex Lower Front Control Arms are adjustable for length, built from CNC-formed 1.625in OD DOM steel tube with a 1/4in wall and forged threaded ends that lock down with precision nuts. Patented Duroflex joints at both ends use an elastomer made with DuPont Kevlar fiber that self-centers, damps vibration and allows over 34 degrees of misalignment per joint, with 28 degrees more articulation than typical control arms.
Set the length, bolt them into the factory mounts, align the Jeep, and the front end tracks straight on the highway and flexes on the trail.
