A built Wrangler JL or Gladiator JT spends its days on rock, gravel and washboard, and the wheels take every hit. A wheel with the wrong offset can rub the tire, change scrub radius and make the steering feel vague, and an exposed valve stem is easy to tear off on a ledge.
The AEV Salta XR is made for these two platforms, with offset and backspacing chosen for tire clearance, scrub radius and handling. It is cast from A356 T6 aluminum in a 12-spoke design, the valve stem sits recessed for protection from rocks, and the wheel is tested to SAE J2530 standards. The satin black finish carries a laser engraved SALTA XR graphic on the face.
Mount the tires, set the TPMS sensors, bolt them on and head for the trail with wheels sized for the rig.
