The standard AEV snorkel mount ties into the windshield frame, which means the windshield stays put. For owners who like to fold the windshield down on open trails, that is a trade-off they would rather not make.
The AEV A-Pillar Snorkel Mount Bracket attaches to the A-pillar behind the windshield frame, so the snorkel is held independently and the windshield can still fold. It does not fit the 3.0L EcoDiesel. On tight, brushy trails the standard windshield mount is the stronger choice.
Swap the bracket, fold the glass down and enjoy the open air.
