Jeep Wrangler JL 4-Door, Rock Slide Engineering Step Slider Skid Plates 3.0, Pair, Textured Black

Step sliders are made to take a hit, but a four-door JL on aggressive rock trails takes hits from the side and from underneath. A slider with no extra protection can bend, and a bent step makes a long trail longer.

The Rock Slide Engineering skid plates are 3/16 in steel and fit over the 3rd Gen step sliders like a phone case. They screw into the existing slider using the same brackets, and a cutout for the step lets it keep working.

Fit the plates to the sliders with the existing brackets. In about 30 minutes the sliders have extra protection on the sides and underneath.
