The Rock Slide Engineering Gen III slider protects the rocker panel and builds in a power step that drops 12 in when a door opens and retracts flush when it closes. The smart motor design leaves out the gas strut, which helps the step keep working in cold and harsh weather, and the back of the step is 2 in longer for access to the rear door.
Bolt the sliders to the factory mounting points, run the stand-alone harness and fit the door sensors. The JL gets rocker protection and a step that handles itself.
