A Wrangler or Gladiator headed out for a week carries more than the cabin can hold. The roof is the obvious place for the overflow, but the rack has to hold up to heavy off-road use and still come off when the trip is done.

This Rhino-Rack system uses RL110 legs that mount to the vehicle's protruding side gutters and carries two black 59 in Heavy Duty overhang bars. It comes with security hardware, is rated for heavy off-road use, works with a wide range of accessories and is tested to Australian AS1235-2000.

Allow about an hour to mount the legs and bars. Load the roof for the trip, and take the rack off when it is not needed.
