Big tires load the front wheel bearings and the 5-lug flange, and a driveline failure at speed ends the trip. A stronger hub pattern and a locking hub address both.

This TeraFlex kit moves the inner and outer wheel bearings farther apart to cut bearing load. The bearings ride on a forged 4140 chromoly spindle, the 8x6.5 in bolt pattern adds wheel-to-flange strength over 5 lugs, and the hubs disengage for highway use or flat towing. The design also seals the OEM wheel speed sensors from mud and rocks so ABS and ESP data keeps flowing.

Swap the hubs, spindles and stub shafts and add the vented big brakes; the front end is set up for the 8-lug pattern.
