Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018, TeraFlex Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit

A big spare on a JK loads the tailgate, and reaching the cargo area means moving a heavy tire each time. Worse, a sagging tailgate and a rattling carrier make every washboard mile a worry.

The TeraFlex Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier uses the factory tailgate hinge mounting points, with internal gussets and bracing in the JK body to support the carrier and tire. It is cast from A356.2 T6 aluminum, with heavy-duty forged steel brackets and high-carbon hardened steel 5/8in hinge pins, and carries up to a 37in tire.

Bolt it to the factory locations with common hand tools, no drilling, and add the Adjustable Spare Tire Mount. The spare rides secure and the rear opens in one swing.
