A full-size spare on a JK tailgate is a lot of weight to hold in one place. A loose or poorly set mount shifts on every rough road, and the worry stays with you until the trail ends.

The TeraFlex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mount Kit is built for the 5x5in pattern. It is formed and welded from CNC laser cut steel with heavy gussets, and adjusts vertically and fore and aft. It handles a tire up to 35in, or up to 37in with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier.

Mount it at the factory locations, set the height and spacing, and fit the spare. It works with OEM and most aftermarket bumpers.
