A winch is only useful if the bumper can carry it, and the factory bumper on a JK is not built to. A winch plate that ties into the frame gives you self-recovery without replacing the bumper.
The Patriot Series plate is a single piece of steel with keyed, laser-cut tabs that tie into the existing factory tow hooks, which connect directly to the frame. The integrated winch fairlead mount accepts both roller and hawse fairleads. All winch bolt patterns are already laser cut into the plate, so no drilling is needed, and it works with common 8,000 lb winches up to the Warn PowerPlant.
Bolt the plate to the factory tow hooks, mount the winch, and the factory bumper is ready for recovery.
