Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018, Rhino-Rack Vortex RLT600 2-Bar Backbone Roof Rack, Black

A Wrangler JK carries gear for every kind of trip, and the roof is the obvious place for the bulky items. The rack needs a solid base that keeps the Jeep's look and capability intact, and it should come off when it is not needed.

The Rhino-Rack Vortex RLT600 roof rack attaches to the Rhino-Rack Backbone, which mounts to the JK's internal structure instead of the roof panels. The kit includes the Backbone, four Quick Mount legs and two black 59in Vortex bars. A trigger locking system lets the legs and bars come off without tools once the system is fitted, and a lockable cover plate protects the lock.

Install the Backbone, about 3.5 hours the first time, click on the legs and bars, and load up. When the rack is not needed, it comes off without tools.
