Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018, MetalCloak True Dual Rate Coils, Rear, 2-Door 3.5in and 4-Door 2.5in Lift Info & Specs

A JK that carries gear all week and crawls on weekends needs rear springs that hold ride height under load and still let the axle drop into holes. Soft single-rate springs sag when the cargo area fills, and short ones fall out of their buckets at full droop.

MetalCloak True Dual Rate rear coils are made of high tensile chrome silicon steel with a 21in free length, long enough to stay seated in the coil buckets at full droop. The dual rate design acts like a lowered bucket, which steadies the coil, resists buckling and holds a consistent ride height when the Jeep is loaded. They lift a 2-door JK 3.5in and a 4-door 2.5in, and they are tuned to work with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.

Install them in one to two hours, then align.

Notes

  • Engineered to perform with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.

  • MetalCloak recommends a suspension alignment by a specialist after installing MetalCloak suspension parts.
