The front of a JK carries the engine, a winch bumper and every impact off the trail, and stock springs give up height and stability as that weight adds up. Short coils can also unseat at full droop.
MetalCloak True Dual Rate front coils are high tensile chrome silicon steel with a 21.5in free length that keeps them in the buckets at full droop. The dual rate design acts like a lowered coil bucket, which steadies the spring, resists buckling and keeps ride height consistent. Thermoset elastomer upper coil isolators made for these coils come in the kit. They lift a 2-door JK 3.5in and a 4-door 2.5in, and they are tuned to work with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
Plan on one to two hours, then an alignment, and the front end holds its height.

Notes
- Engineered to perform with Duroflex control arms and 6Pak or RockSport shocks.
- The coils keep a slight rake to allow for load carrying.
- MetalCloak advises against powder coating these coils: the baking process can change the steel and cost the coils their lift.
- MetalCloak recommends a suspension alignment by a specialist after installing MetalCloak suspension parts.
