Front upper arms on a lifted JK set caster and keep the axle where it belongs, and they also decide how much of the trail's vibration reaches the steering wheel. Fixed factory arms cannot correct caster after a lift, and stiff joints limit flex.
MetalCloak Duroflex Front Upper Control Arms are CNC formed from 1.5in DOM steel with a 3/16in wall, with a forged adjustable threaded end and lock nut. Their patented Duroflex joints use a vulcanized elastomer compounded with DuPont Kevlar fiber, self-center to share load forces evenly, dampen noise and vibration and allow 68° of articulation per arm. Every part is gold zinc chromate treated.
Adjust, install and align. The front end flexes freely, steers predictably and the joints can be rebuilt when needed.
