A lifted JK needs its front axle set back where it belongs, and the stock lower arms offer no adjustment. Their rubber bushings also limit articulation and let road vibration work into the steering and the cab.
MetalCloak Duroflex Lower Front Control Arms are CNC-formed from 1.625in OD DOM steel with a .25in wall and high-clearance bends for tire clearance. Adjustable forged threaded ends set the length, and patented Duroflex joints at each end use a Kevlar-reinforced elastomer that self-centers, damps vibration and allows over 34 degrees of misalignment per joint. The arms are gold zinc plated, and the joints can be cleaned and regreased instead of replaced.
Dial in the length, bolt them up, and the JK drives smoothly on the road and flexes freely on the trail.
