Jeep Wrangler JL 2018-2026, TeraFlex 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shock Kit, 2.5-3in Lift

A lifted Wrangler that crawls rocks on Saturday still has to cover highway miles on Monday, and stock shocks rarely handle both. Once the lift goes on, the ride gets floaty on the pavement and harsh when the trail gets rough, and the shock stroke no longer matches the suspension.

The TeraFlex 9550 VSS (Vehicle Specific Shocks) kit pairs front and rear twin-tube shocks with a proprietary in-house velocity valve tuned to react in sync with TeraFlex suspension systems and lift kits. The oversized external tube has an e-dipped finish, the rod is triple-chrome plated with an oil block and seal, and an internal travel stop limiter protects the shock at full stretch.

Swap the stock shocks front and rear using the Jeep-specific mounting, and the Wrangler rides smoothly on the highway and stays controlled off it.
