Jeep Wrangler JK/JL & Gladiator JT 2014+, Baxter Performance Pentastar 3.6L Cartridge to Remote Adapter & 6-Port Remote Mount Combo

Supercharged, turbocharged or high-torque Pentastar builds run hot, and the factory cartridge filter setup gives no way to add an oil cooler. Heat is hard on oil, and the factory setup gives no way to add a cooler.

The Baxter Performance combo pairs a cartridge to remote adapter with a 6-port remote mount. A custom bracket relocates the filter mount to the driver's side of the engine above the front differential and converts the system to a spin-on filter with 3/4-16 threads. The top-mounted adapter has a Schrader valve to evacuate the filter and the added cooling system back to the sump for oil changes, and it retains more oil in the engine for faster pressure at start-up.

Mount the bracket and the remote mount, connect your -10AN lines and fit a spin-on filter. An oil cooler becomes an option for an engine that did not have one.

Notes

• Requires a spin-on oil filter such as the MAHLE OC1047.
