Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018, Falcon HD Rear Shock Skid Plate Kit

A rear shock takes hits from rocks, and a damaged shock can end a trip. Falcon shocks on a JK still want protection when the trail turns rough.

The Falcon HD Rear Shock Skid Plate Kit is made for rear JK Falcon Series 3 piggyback shocks and also fits the Series 2 monotube shocks. It is 1/4in cold rolled steel with a raw finish for optional welding, offers three shock mounting heights, and uses Eco-Guard hardware that passes a 1,000-hour salt spray test.

Cut the stock lower mount, bolt the plate on, and pick the height.

Notes

• Requires aftermarket wheels with 4.75in backspacing or less, or Offset Wheel Adapters (1055000) for stock wheels (not included).
• Requires cutting the stock lower shock mount.
• Mounting at Level 2 or Level 3 may affect rear axle travel, letting the axle droop further, which may cause the spring to fall out of place.
