Moving the spare off the tailgate frees up weight and improves your departure angle. It also leaves a hole where the tire used to be.

The DV8 Offroad spare tire delete is a 2mm and 4mm steel plate that replaces the spare tire assembly and finishes in micro-texture black powder coat. It adds an LED license plate light with weatherproof crimps and a watertight plug for the third brake light. Rubber plugs replace the spare tire isolators and wiring grommet, and the mounting hardware is included.

Bolt it on and finish the wiring.
