Lifting a JK or JL tips the rear control arms down at a steep angle. That geometry shows up as bump steer and axle steer, a rear end that feels loose under acceleration and braking, and arm mounts that can catch on ledges. A rear long arm conversion fixes the angles but moves the hang-up point farther forward.
The MetalCloak DB3 Rear Control Arm Correction Bracket bolts into the factory locations and drops the rear arm mounts to flatten the arm angles, correcting the geometry and adjusting roll center and rear axle caster. The bracket is laser-cut 3/16in steel, fully welded, with a built-in skid plate and angled surfaces that tuck behind the tire for approach.
Bolt it on with adjustable rear arms, align the Jeep, and it tracks straight with its full range of up and down travel.
