Bigger tires on a JK, JL or Gladiator change how much rear bump stop the Jeep needs. Too little and the tires reach the body or vital components at full compression; too much and usable travel is lost.
The MetalCloak Adjustable Rear Bump Stop System uses eight stackable 1in pads of 90 durometer thermoset elastomer to set the stop anywhere from 1in to 4in, and the pads can be changed later without removing the coils. Stack the pads for the tire size, bolt it in, and the rear axle uses its full travel without the tires finding sheet metal.
