A Hi-Lift Jack and a Pull-Pal land anchor earn their place on a JK, but both are heavy and awkward to carry. Hung off the tailgate or the tire carrier arm, their weight wears on hinges and makes the gate harder to open.
AEV's mount bolts on directly above the chassis-mounted spindle housing of the AEV Tire Carrier, so the tools' load goes into the frame instead of the carrier and tailgate. It fits snugly to stop rattles.
Bolt it on, strap the jack and anchor in place, and the tailgate keeps swinging freely.
