Jeep Wrangler JK 3.6L, Baxter Performance Cartridge to Spin-On Oil Filter Adapter Info & Specs

A Pentastar cartridge filter has no anti-drainback valve, so the upper oil system can drain and oil pressure takes longer to build at start-up. Changing the filter is also a mess.

The Baxter Performance adapter converts the engine to a spin-on filter and keeps the upper oil system flooded for faster oil pressure at start-up. It has a full flow check valve and a unique threaded locking mechanism, plus a Schrader valve for oil evacuation when removing the spin-on filter. It is made and patented in the USA.

Fit the adapter, spin on a filter and use the Schrader valve at the next change.
